  • The ideal candidate has experience in HVAC systems design for residential and commercial applications. This role will require day-to-day activities such as equipment sizing, AutoCAD/Revit drafting, collaboration with all other disciplines on the design team, as well as managing 1-2 mechanical designers/drafters.

    Job Type: 40 hours/week. In-Office.

    Salary range of $70,000-90,000/yr depending on experience.

    Job Responsibilities

    Mechanical HVAC design (equipment sizing, AutoCAD/Revit drafting) for residential and commercial applications)

    Prepare construction drawings and technical specifications

    Design coordination and collaboration with disciplines on design team

    Attend site visits for verification of existing MP systems

    Attend design coordination meeting in person and via video chat

    Respond to plan check, contractor and client/owner design comments

    Manage a team of 1-2 mechanical designers/drafters

    The position is for in office, not remote

    Experience

    3-5 years’ minimum experience in mechanical HVAC design for residential and commercial applications

    Experience in sizing and selecting HVAC cooling/heating systems

    Ability to prepare construction drawings and technical specifications

    Experience with design coordination and collaboration

    Intimate knowledge of California building codes

    Ability to work independently with basic design direction

    Proficient in AutoCAD drafting

    Additional compensation if the applicant has Revit experience

    Proficient in Microsoft word and excel

    Construction administration experience (submittal review, construction contractor collaboration for RFI responses, site visits, project closeout)

    Comfortable interacting with clients via video chat and face to face for meetings

  • The ideal candidate has experience in HVAC systems design for residential and commercial applications. This role will require day-to-day activities such as load calculations, equipment sizing, AutoCAD/Revit drafting and collaboration with all other disciplines on the design team.

    Job Type: 40 hours/week. In-Office.

    Salary range of $60,000-85,000/yr depending on experience.

  • The ideal candidate has experience in plumbing design/drafting. This role will require drafting and sizing of plumbing systems and coordinating with our in-house HVAC team.

    Job Type: 40 hours/week. In-Office.

    Salary range of $50,000-70,000/yr depending on experience

    Job Responsibilities

    AutoCAD/Revit drafting

    Apply redline markups from a project engineer and produce construction documents

    Sizing plumbing piping systems for water, gas, waste/vent systems

    Interact and communicate effectively with other team members and disciplines.

    Assist in submittal and RFI reviews

    Assist in plan check, contractor and client/owner design comments

    Remain up to date in developments within the profession and within the organization as appropriate

    Comfortable interacting with clients via video chat and face-to-face for meetings

    Experience

    1-3 years experience in AutoCAD drafting for residential and commercial applications

    Proficient in AutoCAD drafting

    Additional compensation if the applicant has Revit experience

    About the Role

    As a Senior HVAC Mechanical Engineer, you’ll lead HVAC projects, designing systems for diverse clients. Work with architects, contractors, and our team to deliver quality designs from concept to completion. Benefit from hybrid work flexibility and opportunities to mentor junior staff.

    What You’ll Do

    • Design HVAC systems, including equipment sizing, ductwork, and controls, using AutoCAD and Revit.

    • Prepare construction drawings and specifications compliant with California building codes.

    • Coordinate with project stakeholders to ensure smooth execution and resolve design issues.

    • Conduct site visits to verify MEP systems and address field challenges.

    • Mentor 1–2 junior designers/drafters, ensuring high-quality deliverables.

    • Manage construction administration tasks, including RFIs, submittals, and plan checks.

    What We’re Looking For

    • 5+ years of experience in HVAC engineering for residential and commercial projects.

    • Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit experience preferred).
